Karelian Käpälikkö


Karelian Käpälikkö patterns have their roots deep into the Karelian. Love of nature, fishing and berry picking are displayed prints of plant and animal subjects. With edged touch and a cheerful attitude to life are included in the masculine and feminine, flora and fauna, the future and the past.
Pike swim long and deep basins, as a snake, waiting on the edge of the reeds offered dinner. Moose will appear in the evening light against a figure that has been able to sense even before seeing it. Animals and Karelian ornamentation are intertwined to create a new Kalevala spiritual entity.
